Hours of Operation and Holidays

Rockland Academy is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM except for holidays and preplanned closed days. Children may be dropped off at the school by 7:30 AM and must be picked up by 3:15 PM.

Closures & Delays

We follow the Midd-West School District Calendar for weather closure and delays.

Admissions

We believe that every child should have the opportunity to receive a Christian education if they so desire. We also know that this is not a reality for many as the cost of private education can be very expensive. Our desire is to run a high-quality Christian school at low cost to families. Our tuition and fees are significantly lower than most private schools in our area.

Enrollment Procedure

Step 1. Complete, sign, date and return application with the application fee.
Step 2. Your application will be reviewed, and you will be informed if we have availability.
Step 3. We will conduct an interview with the child, family, and a member of the school administration.
Step 4. If your child is offered a place in our school, you must pay a deposit to hold their place.
Step 5. When the deposit is made, your child will be brought in for testing to determine what materials/packets they will need.
Step 6. You must complete and return an enrollment packet and all forms.
Step 7. Your child can start the following week on Monday if the tuition is paid.

Fees

1. Application Fee

A non-refundable application fee will be charged when you start the enrollment process. This fee holds a seat for your student and is $125 for the student’s first year in our school. The fee will be reduced to $75 for each additional year they stay enrolled. Both fees are reduced by $25 if paid by May 15, 2023 and all enrollment / re-enrollment information is complete.

2. Materials Fee

A materials fee will be charged to cover the costs of all the students’ books and materials from the A.C.E program. The non-refundable fee is $225 for students enrolled in kindergarten and $275 for all others. If paid by May 15, 2023, the fee is reduced by $25. ALL materials fees must be paid by August 1, 2023 in order to assure students have their materials by the first day of school.

3. Tuition Fee

To guarantee the student’s place of enrollment in the school, it is required that a contract of attendance be completed upon admittance.

Payment is required for all scheduled days even if your child is NOT in attendance or the school is closed (such as closed weekly holidays – see operating hours and calendar for holiday closing schedule.

Paid in full (PIF) payments are due by August 10, 2023

Electronic payments are available and encouraged using our communications program, Brightwheel. Brightwheel can be used for automatic payments or parent initiated payments from checking accounts or credit cards.
